With a full body, a dark crema, and an expressive and diverse range of aromas, our Grand Royal Deluxe Espresso is a worthy companion for all discerning baristas who demand only the best. Served solo, as a single or double espresso, or as a base for milk-based drinks, the Grand Royal is an excellent choice.

To give this blend its expressive flavor, we preblended roasted the finest coffees from the Andrade Farm in Brazil, an exceptional Canephora from the Mulembe farmers in Uganda, and our washed Red Catuai from Finca Los Diegos. The result is a complex and exceptionally balanced espresso that's powerful yet silky. The rich and stable crema makes it an ideal bar espresso for discerning baristas.

Espresso

For a cup of really good coffee, the preparation is at least as important as the production, harvesting, processing and roasting of the green coffee. The Bear is a traditional espresso and should therefore be prepared with a portafilter espresso machine or a bialetti.

You will achieve the best results with a good portafilter espresso machine. There are many manufacturers and a huge selection of accessories - from scales to strainers. To find the right combination, we recommend trying out as much as possible. Basically, the more coffee in the sieve, the more body and chocolatey notes in the cup.

With a stovetop pot (Bialetti), it is particularly important that the sieve is always well filled and that the coffee grounds are not pressed too much. So it makes sense to have the right size to hand. The stovetop pots are available in 2, 4, 6 and 8 cup sizes.
